Festa dell'Uva e del Vino Bardolino

The Festa dell'Uva e del Vino di Bardolino is one of the oldest and most loved wine festivals on Lake Garda — a five-day autumn celebration in late September/early October that marks the harvest of the Bardolino DOC wine grapes and has been running in various forms for generations. The festival occupies the Bardolino waterfront and historic centre with wine stands, food stalls, live music, and grape pressing demonstrations that celebrate the viticultural tradition of the eastern Veronese lake shore. Local wineries offer barrel tastings and new-vintage introductions; the Chiaretto rosé and Bardolino rosso are the stars of the event. The festival atmosphere — families, local tradition, the scent of fermenting grapes in the autumn air — is genuinely authentic. Free entry; the lakefront setting with the first autumn colours makes this one of the Garda season's most atmospheric events.
