Vivi il Verde Mantova

Vivi il Verde Mantova is an annual garden and horticultural exhibition held in the parks and green spaces of historic Mantova in spring, typically in April and May. The show brings together garden designers, nursery growers, botanical artists, and landscape architects from across northern Italy in the setting of one of the Renaissance world's most magnificent cities. The UNESCO-listed Palazzo Ducale gardens, the Palazzo Te grounds, and the lakeside parks of Mantova provide extraordinary backdrops for garden installations, plant sales, and landscape design displays. Spring is an ideal season to visit Mantova: the Mincio lakes surrounding the city are at their most beautiful, migratory birds arrive in the wetlands, and the city is less crowded than in summer.
