The Palio dell'Olio at Cisano di Bardolino is a traditional olive oil competition and festival celebrating the producers of Garda DOP extra-virgin olive oil on the eastern Veronese shore. Local oil producers compete for the golden Palio trophy while visitors sample freshly pressed oils with bruschette, polenta, and other local products. The festival coincides with the olive harvest season and the Museo dell'Olio di Oliva hosts special exhibitions.
