Festa di Sant'Anna
Descrizione
The Festa di Sant'Anna is the patron saint festival of Iseo on Lake Iseo, celebrated on 26 July with a traditional programme of religious ceremonies, lakefront events, music, and the classic Italian sagra atmosphere. Lake Iseo — smaller and less tourist-heavy than Lake Garda — has a particularly authentic local character that makes events like the Sant'Anna festival feel genuinely communal rather than staged for visitors. The festival coincides with peak summer season, when the lake towns are at their most animated and the Franciacorta wine estates in the hills behind Iseo welcome visitors. Monte Isola — the large island in the centre of the lake, car-free and accessible only by ferry from Iseo — can be visited as a day trip from the festival.
