The Mercatini di Natale di Arco are among Trentino's most charming Christmas markets, held in Arco's beautiful Belle Époque centro storico from late November through December. The medieval Piazza III Novembre and surrounding lanes fill with wooden chalets selling artisan handicrafts, local cheeses, Trentino speck and wines, hand-carved decorations, and regional sweets. The mild winter climate of Arco — Italy's most climatically favoured Christmas market destination — and the castle illuminated above the town create an exceptional festive atmosphere.
