The breakfast every morning from 8 to 10 was nice. There is a large balcony/terrace on the second floor with a jacuzzi and some small tables and chairs. It rained at sunset my second night there, which was a great time to sit outside on the terrace (the covered part) and listen to the rain come down while overlooking the small vineyard across the street. But most of all, the staff at The Maison Du Port was what made the stay so special. Was no less hospitable than your favorite aunt or grandmother, and even took me into town when I told her I was looking for stamps for my postcards. In addition to Luciana, her staff of one really cute doggie and three playful cats rounded out the team. One of the cats, Jacamo, loved being petted under the neck. I forget the names of the rest, but the little gray cat loved sleeping on the counter between two wine bottles. Only in Italy!
