Hotel Villa Giulia Gargnano. A four-star hotel, Hotel Villa Giulia is enriched by certain features of higher category. The rooms in the Villa and in the chalets are of various sizes and overlook the lake, the park or the garden. All of them are furnished with care, some with period furniture, they all have a shower, wc, telephone, satellite colour v safe, minibar and some have balconies. Inside the Hotel Villa Giulia there is a restaurant, a bar, a lounge piano, a terrace above the lake where the dinner is served, a veranda overlooking the lake for the morning buffet-breakfast. In the luxuriant park there is the historical Limonaia, a swimming-pool, solarium, a sauna, promenade, the rose garden and opportunities to relax under the shade of the age-old magnolia tree. Dieser Ort ist magisch. Hier ist nichts zu spüren von der ansonst so umtriebigen Geschäftigkeit anderer Lokalitäten am Gardasee. Man legt sich in den wundervoll gestalteten, duftenden Garten, lauscht dort dem sanften Plätschern des Wassers und geniesst den Gesang der Vögel. Man dreht eine Runde im Pool – oder alternativ im See – und bewundert om Ostufer den noch schneebedeckten Monte Baldo.
Absolut empfehlenswerter Ausflugstip: Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera (Villa und Museum vom italienischen Nationalhelden G. d’Annunzio).
Abends geniesst man – bei Fackelschein – ein wundervoll romatisches Essen auf der Terrasse, während man verträumt die Lichter am gegenüberliegenden Ufer beobachtet. Ich bin süchtig nach diesem Ort. Einmal im Jahr lasse ich hier die Seele baumeln und vergesse alles um mich herum

Wir waren im Juli vier Tage in der Villa Giulia und total zufrieden. Ideal für einen schönen Kurztrip nach bella Italia. Die Anlage ist super schön und man ist total abgeschottet und kommt total runter. Wer richtig zur Ruhe kommen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Relax und idyllisch. Abends sind wir meistens auf der Terrasse geblieben und haben bei Fackellicht einen schönen Abend verbracht. Die Auswahl ist groß und wir haben uns meistens für die Fische aus dem See entschieden. Kann man nur empfehlen. Die Gartenanlage wird jeden Tag von Gärtnern gepflegt – das sieht man. Schön ist auch der Pianosaal und die Bar drinnen, wenn man genug Sonne getankt hat, kann man hier einen Drink nehmen oder ein Buch verschlingen.

Thank you Hotel Villa Giulia, you maked this a wonderful weekend for my birthday with 18 friends, nothing was too much trouble offering a family warmth whcih is so rare. The gardens were stunning and position by the lake were superb. The rooms and bar are not identikit Forte style, for me Hotel Villa Giulia is far more charming, the furishings have evolved over decades and it felt more like saying in a private family home. Light lunches and candlit dinner with freshly made pasta, local wines and locally caght fish gave a real authenic experience. The location was perfect for exploring on foot and all of my guests said they would return with their husbands or lovers for a romatic retreat, and so we will be back again!

Das Ambiente ist exklusiv, der Service unaufdringlich. Wir haben eine gute Zeit in der Villa verbracht und können das Hotel in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen. Der Garten ist einfach der Hammer – vor allem die eigenen Oliven – und Zitronenbäume. Die Besitzerin ist nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist seit fast 60 Jahren in Familienhand. Der Landhausstil kombiniert mit viktorianischer Flair hat uns gefallen. In der Villa Giulia dominieren elegante Braun-, Gold- und helle Crèmetöne. Leider waren die schönsten Zimmer schon vergeben, beim nächsten Mal versuchen wir das Zimmer mit Balkon nach vorne raus zu bekommen.

Just arrived home in Dubai after our third stay at the Villa Giulia. We adore this hotel. Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff and absolutely peaceful. One of the few places I go where I sleep properly, and I travel a lot! We will return next year. Thank you Barbara, you have a wonderful hotel and great team of people.

Spent 5 glorious days at this beautiful hotel on our honeymoon. From the minute we walked in, nothing was too much trouble for any of the brilliant staff. The facilities, gardens, service, food and wine were all exceptional. There is something special about this place. Can’t wait to visit again…..maybe on our anniversary! Thank you to all at Hotel Villa Giulia who made our stay one we will never forget.
