December 1899 Riva del Garda: in one of the most breathtaking spots of the lake the Hotel Lido Palace opened its doors. At that time the Trentino Region formed part of the Hapsburg Empire and the strategic border town of Riva del Garda was chosen by the Imperial family together with numerous high-ranking guests as their holiday retreat. The roaring years of the Belle Époque was the European setting of outstanding hotel structures like the Lido Palace Hotel. One hundred and eleven years later and after a two year renovation period, the newly designed Lido Palace has maintained the same façade and is proud to present its distinctly contemporary image to the world. Located on the top floor, our Executive Floor is a light and airy space seemingly close to the sky and is contained within see-through glass walls. It offers 360° views, and it was conceived and designed for guests to be caught by surprise by the surrounding nature. The setting of our two restaurants is an elongated structure, similar to the bow of a ship, reaches out into the ancient park, until almost touching the water, where imagination and emotion are combined with the perfection of the specialities prepared daily by our talented and creative team of chefs.
