the summer residence of the Arosio family since 1925. Enlarged and converted into a guesthouse in 1955, for many years, regular guests have enjoyed the privilege of holidaying in a splendid, peaceful spot. The magnificent garden leads down to the lake and overlooks the imposing Monte Baldo chain – all features that ensure a relaxing, unforgettable stay. All rooms, completely redecorated and furnished with antique furniture, have en-suite bathrooms with showers and hairdryers, telephones, free Internet DSL connection, safes, air conditioning, sat colour Tv and lake view balconies. Additional facilities include: a bar, panoramic restaurant, breakfast served in the garden facing the lake, a piano room and a small beach situated nearby. Private car park, canoes and bicycles hire. Wonderful, noble, peaceful place where all rich in culture and civilization. On the shore of Lake Garda is located in a series of beautiful small town. In Gargnano writer Lawrence liked to stay. The Hotel Gardenia al Lago is beautiful, with a lovely garden. I was in Benaco room with a terrace overlooking the lake. The Garda Lake is beautiful. Every morning is different. At night you can hear the sound of water. There are different types of activities from swimming, diving, boat rides on the lake in all directions. The food is excellent. The whole atmosphere is incredibly intimate. The staff is very friendly. I thank them for their pleasant stay and warm welcome … I hope to come again next year.

The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely garden. I was in Benaco room with a terrace overlooking the lake. The Garda Lake is beautiful. Every morning is different. Situato sul lago, molto bello, gestito in modo familiare e con grande gentilezza. Un piccolo parcheggio in cui siamo sempre riusciti a mettere l’auto. La cosa più bella, mangiare molto bene sotto al pergolato in riva al lago. Ottima la cucina, consigliabile il semifreddo al torroncino.

Die Begrüßung, der Umgang und die Verabschiedung sind herzlich-charmant, das Interieur begeistert – größtenteils. Doch selbst in diesen Zimmern fühlt man sich nach einer sehr fair kalkulierten Flasche Lugana Superiore pudelwohl. Die Flasche – oder natürlich andere Getränke – genießt man in wunderbarer Lage unter einem im hoteleigenen Garten stehenden Olivenbaum mit Blick auf den nur zwei Meter entfernten Gardasee. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet wird im Garten aufgebaut und ist von außerordentlicher Qualität – kann der Tag eigentlich nicht besser beginnen.

Sowohl der Ort als auch das Hotel ein echter Geheimtip (sollte man eigentlich gar nicht weitergeben…). Aufmerksamer Service, sympathische Leute, wir hatten ein renoviertes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den Lago: herrlich! Nur leider spielte das Wetter nicht immer mit. Zimmer mit Terrcottaboden absolut ein Plus, Betten auch ok. Ein Abendessen im Garten am See, gutes Menue und ein herrlicher Abend! Frühstück a l italiana, aber auch gut, einmal draussen am Wasser, wir genossen es! Genau richtig für einen ruhigen, intensiven Kurzurlaub zu zweit!

Piccolo e curatissimo albergo a conduzione familiare. Stanze ampie, pulite arredate con gusto. Lettini e sdraio a disposizione degli ospiti nel giardino a ridosso del lago (accesso diretto) o sul solarium. I pasti vengono forniti presso il patio adiacente il giardino, con una splendida vista sulla costa veronese. La colazione è ottima, fresca e abbondante. L’hotel si trova in una zona molto tranquilla a 700m dal centro di Gargnano (una piacevole passeggiata). Personale attento e cortese. Un ringraziamento particolare a Giorgio, uno dei proprietari, per la disponibilità e professionalità.
