Hotel Corte Regina is a tiny and peaceful family hotel in the historical centre of Sirmione, 50 mt.from the lakeshore. It rests its foundation on an ancient Roman villa of which are visible the artefacts in the adjacent restaurant. Its 14 rooms, with private bathrooms, telephone, tv, minibar, safe, have names of flowers instead of the usual numbers. Perfect location within the old town. Paolo and Christina were so helpful with suggestions on restaurants and assisted with getting reservations. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was typical european style.

What a lovely hotel. The owners are just delightful. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The Hotel Corte Regina is in the old town part of Sirmione which gives it a special charm.

We liked Paola and the friendly, helpful staff. They went beyond the call of duty to show us what we could do and how to get to the places. The staff could speak English. The staff was willing to accommodate us by replacing a double bed with a twin bed and was willing to even open breakfast a little early so we could trouble. They also helped us make arrangements for travel to the next site. We liked being next to the castle and hearing the tower bells. The breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay in this small, family run hotel. Everyone made us truly welcome and went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating – even offering to start breakfast service half hour early on our last morning so we could eat before leaving. Rooms were spotless, air-con worked efficiently and the location was perfect – beach at the bottom of the road, a gorgeous little bar right opposite and nice family restaurant nextdoor.
