Das Beste am Hotel Benaco war die Nähe zum Bahnhof in Desenzano del Garda. Es liegt nur zwei Minuten unterhalb des Bahnhofs, ideal wenn man alleine reist. Zugverbindungen nach Bergamo, Mailand, Venedig und Brescia. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war üppig und lecker, der Außenpool sehr schön und das Personal sehr freundlich. Desenzano del Garda ist eine tolle Kleinstadt und wir hatten Glück, das Wetter war die ganze Zeit über fabelhaft, die Touren auf dem See waren also super. Von DDG fahren die Fähren zu allen Orten am See. Auch daher lohnt es sich für Individualreisende. Viele schöne Restaurants mit zivilen Preisen.

This hotel was everything that we looked for! The room was clean and cosy. We had a little balcony overlooking lake Garda and the mountains! Our room had a safe, we just needed to ask for the key on the reception. The location is excellent! It’s right on the side of the road leading from the train station to the lake. If I come to Desenzano again I will not look any further than Benaco hotel!

Rooms well sized and equipped, for this price level. Attractive pool and garden. Location provides easy access to motorway, ferries and railway for trips to Venice, Verona and Lake Garda in general, as well being easy walking distince from the town centre of Desenzano. Friendly staff.

My girlfriend and I come to Desenzano del Garda once every couple of years and always make sure to stay at Hotel Benaco. It’s a 2 minute walk from the train station, which makes it perfect to go a do day trips to Verona, Milan and even Venice, where trains take you direct from the small station. It’s location is perfect for a stroll into town, that has everything from lovely restaurants, trendy bars and even gelateria! Breakfast has a wide selection of choices to start your day. The managers, father and son, are two very typical Italian gentlemen who always give us the time of day and are always extremely useful.The hotel itself is very nice and always seems to be kept in good condition. Rooms are homely and always clean, the swimming pool perfect size and very clean. Regarding value for money, we wouldn’t be coming back every year if we did agree with its value for Money. Cant wait to go again next year!

Very comfortable ambiance, it retains the Italian feel with a modern setting that provides a nice pool, garden, location near train station, and spacious clean rooms. We had a nice big patio overlooking lake Garda, and found the hotel very relaxing with not the usual sounds of the other vacationers around. Will return hopefully in the future.
