We stayed here for four nights in mid-October. The views you get from this hotel are amazing!! The staff were helpful friendly. The Room was very clean and the shower was lovely. Breakfast was good. The evening meals were fantastic. I tried many new things and the staff were happy to offer an alternative if you didn’t like the choices on the menu. I didn’t use the sauna or swimming pool but the pool was very clean. I would stay here again.

We stayed in the Red Villa at the start of September. The receptionist was very friendly and showed us to our room. The weather was great and we could see the splended view across the lake, beautiful. The breakfasts were good, fresh as well as canned fruit, lots of different breads, plus cheese and ham. Evening meals were varied, rooms but they were spotless and the bed very comfortable and the bathrooms although a bit dated worked well! Great shower. The walk to the centre of the town was about 15-20 mins. Admittedly the walk down the first set of steps we tried was bad, so we discovered it was better to walk from the exit at the back of the hotel, next to the car park near the Red Villa, down the road there to the bottom of the road, then cross at the crossing and then down the steps to the lakeside. And a blissful walk along the lakeside.

The dinners were superb. Each evening a completely new menu with variety of choice. Lovely breads and salads to take as you like. When choosing a sweet go and have a look at them before ordering. There was a very good selection of wines including many local ones from Bardolino and Valpolicelli. The dining room has huge patio windows looking out over the lake to the mountains beyond which add a whole new dimension to breakfast. At night there is a pretty lace work of lights on the other side of the lake. The hotel grounds are delightful with plenty of places to sit and read or just enjoy the spectacular views. The setting for the pool is just stunning! Malcesine is about a mile away and the best walking route is along the lake side which is just beautiful.

The gardens were absolutely stunning and the balcony view was a real treat! We were treated very well, even once we had checked out- in fact that is the sign of a very good hotel!

Hotel Bellevue San Lorenzo is a beatutiful hotel in a breathtaking location. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was nearly always sunbeds available & apart from a few days guests did not researve sunbeds and not occupy them.

Views were amazing! Design and style of the hotel buildings, interior decoration was good. Facilities were good and gardens/ pool etc were beautiful. Breakfast- there was a good selection, although eggs and bacon were limited in terms of availability. Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. This should definitely be on anyone’s list if thinking of staying in Lake Garda (North)!
