A very nice and comfortable hotel in a small place just outside Desenzano del Garda called Rivoltella. The place itself was not much, only a small piazza with a few shops and some restaurants. We tried most of the restaurants there since it was quite a long walk in hot weather into Desenzano! It took about 25 mins to get there. Desenzano was a nice but typical touristic city (like most places along the Lake Garda) so we only went in there a couple of times. We ate once at a very good restaurants there which were recommended by the staff at the hotel – very cheap and extremely good food and service! The hotel had a roof terrace with a whirlpool and a few sun beds. We ended up spending most of our time in Rivoltella since it was quieter there and less tourists! And one of the restaurants there had very good food so we ate there twice:)

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Good sized, well appointed rooms and en-suite shower room. Room 204 gave a glimpse of the lake down a walkway to the lake on opposite side of the road. 3Rd floor rooms may have better view. Free parking in hotel underground garage. Bikes available for free hire. Reception staff bi-lingual and very helpful. Lovely hot tub and sauna. Excellent restaurant – Rossi & Rossi – just a couple of minutes walk away.
