Welcome to Apartments I Barbasse Monzambano. The farmhouse I Barbasse is an ancient agricultural court totally restructured, in a panoramic position, on the morenic hills over the Garda Lake. The farmhouse is situated in a natural oasis, where you can take a long walk or practice outdoor sport in absolute serenity, immersed in the green countryside. I Barbasse has been redone to regain its original feature. Its location, near Lake Garda, stands close to some important cities, such as Peschiera del Garda, Sirmione, Valeggio sul Mincio and Borghetto. The territory, with its smooth uphill and downhill environment, is a perfect place for your vacation, where you can ride your bike or simply walk through paths in the grove. The proximity to the lake gives acquatic sports followers the possibility to practice sailing, surfing, canoa and other water activities. The farmhouse Apartments I Barbasse is a three floor structure, with nine apartments, (mono – bi – or three-room-apartment). Each apartment is provided with original furnitures of the 18th century and first 19th century, full comfort, with kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, bathroom, extremely confortable; heating, air-conditioned, TV, internet, to please each of your requests. The farmhouse is surrounded by a 10.000 s.m. park, with swimming-pool, a barbecue area and a parking lot. The compound was inaugurated May 1st 2011. The farmhouse that we offer and suggest, has ancient origins (its construction seems to go back approximately to the 17th century). The farmhouse is located in the municipality of Monzambano, in an exclusively hilly area, where there are high-grounds sloping gently down, representing an enchanting view for any observer. Wrapped in the fashion of an historical environment, it lies near the old village of Castellaro Lagusello. The village of Castellaro Lagusello, particularly evocative, is situated in the proximity of a small lake of morenic development, with the shape of a heart, and dominated by a castle, from which the same name derives. The castle was build between the 11th and 12th century, by the Scaligeri, the lordship family of Verona. All around you can admire the morenic amphitheater hills of the Lake Garda, just a few kilometers away from the banks of the Garda Lake. Standing on a natural plateau on the north side of the small lake, the castle, protected by thick walls with merlons, and by ten towers, was divided in two zones: the side facing the lake, entrusted to the lord of the castle, and the side facing north, to a captain, with the task to defend the draw-bridge, the entrance to the castle and to the fortified village.
