Looking over the delightful waters of the Mincio river, for almost 500 years, this beautiful country residence has been cherished, like a precious secret, in the heart of the Mincio Park, in Volta Mantovana. The natural and historical environment is quite unique in its beauty, little waterfalls and an island in the river create an original setting of peace and silence. The flow of the water confers to our senses a magical and relaxing atmosphere which invites us to dream and to totally abandon ourselves to the sweet call of nature. The wonder of this scenery is the prelude to the entrance to the Villa. Having crossed the entrance, we are captured by the enchanting colours, by the centuries-old wooden beams of the ceilings, the terracotta-tiled flooring, the bare stone walls, the various pieces of antique furniture, the result of the painstaking renovation work to a fine old mill of medieval origins. History and architecture have not been altered by the modern comforts which this residence is able to offer. The colours of the rooms and the personal touches in the furnishings contribute to giving each space its own character, a quite unique setting. Each suite/apartment is equipped with: television, tv-sat, air condition/heating, fridge, complete kitchen and a big bathroom with shower. Guests have at their disposal a peninsula with a small beach on the banks of the river, a football pitch, the grounds of the garden for a barbecue, two meeting rooms, for banquets and receptions with bare stone walls and frescoes which recall the bucolic setting of the Mincio as celebrated by Virgilio.
