Farm Holiday Corte Olfino Monzambano. The farm holiday Agriturismo Corte Olfino Monzambano was originally an ancient manor house of the sixteenth century, on the morainal hills in the Parco del Mincio, 8 kilometres from
Lake Garda. The country house and its courtyard have been completely renovated and fitted with every comfort. Here the calm reigns, wrapped by scents and by the singing of the birds, that will let you feel at home. For your free time we suggest mountain-bike riding, trekking, fishing along the river Mincio and scenic walking on the many country paths. You can also easily reach the typical medieval villages such as
Castellaro Lagusello, Borghetto,
Valeggio sul Mincio and historical towns like
Mantova,
Verona and
Brescia. The studio-apartments are roomy (mq 50 en-suite) and well-appointed. Studio-apartments and bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, Tv, safe and hair-dryer. Siamo andati a fare un week-end a Monzanbano. Abbiamo soggiornato all’Agriturismo Corte Olfino, posto tranquillo immerso nel verde delle colline mantovane-veronesi, atmosfera rurale e piacevolissima, contornata dalla compagnia di galline e tacchini. Le camere sono grandi ed elegantemente rustiche (letto in ferro battuto; cabina armadio; pavimento in gres). Al mattino la colazione è improntata alla degustazione dei loro prodotti, marmellate di fichi e cachi, soppressata, torte di mele e cioccolato, in poche parole si ritrova il gusto delle cose semplici e genuine. Bene…è stato così piacevole il gusto di quanto ci è stato offerto che la pioggia non è riuscita a rovinarcelo.

Wir waren Mitte September aufgrund einer Empfehlung im Agriturismo Corte Olfino und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Beschreibungen der früheren Bewertungen sind durchweg zutreffend. Ein besonderer Wohlfühlfaktor ist die Gastfreundlichkeit der Familie Marcolini. Beim Frühstück wird man mit selbst produzierten Konfitüren und frisch zubereitetem Kaffee verwöhnt. Das abseits der Touristenströme liegende Corte Olfino ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren an den Gardasee oder in die Städte Verona, Mantova und Brescia. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed at Corte Olfino for more than 10 nights. The place is well kept, rooms very well equipped and cleaned. The hospitally was fantastic, location to reach Lake Garda and another places such as Verona, Venice, Trento perfect. A delicious breakfast to start a perfect day nearby restaurants to taste the typical Italian cuisine. Recommended to everyone, since the area is a very nice and safe.

All’Agriturismo Corte Olfino si ritorna sempre volentieri, anche per una breve vacanza in perfetto relax. Dall’agriturismo si possono facilmente raggiungere luoghi di grande interesse paesaggistico, il Lago di Garda e i numerosi parchi divertimento come Gardaland ed il Parco Giardino Sigurtà. La cordialità e la simpatia dei proprietari, insieme all’ottima colazione, arricchita da torte e marmellate fatte in casa, completano il soggiorno all’insegna del divertimento!

We stayed here for 5 days in May 2012 and loved it. The area is delightful and close to the lovely Lago di Garda and it’s charming villages and towns, and is very near the gorgeous and famous little village of Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio, known widely as just “Borghetto”. Also not far away is the beautiful city of Mantova, and 5 minutes away is the sweet little village of Monzambano by the pretty river Mincio. A short walk away is a very good winery, Trattoria Colombara, run by the friendly Gozzi family. We bought lots of their great wine after a wonderful open day there. There several good restaurants in the area, two are just a short walk away. The accommodation at Corte Olfino is luxurious and comfortable and not expensive, the breakfast is very good, but best of all the owners and their family are the nicest people you could hope to meet, and will go out of their way to help their guests. The surrounding fields of Kiwi Fruit, Wheat, Maize, Grapes etc. are really pretty, and all in all, it’s a wonderful place to spend time. I’ll be back.
