Santa’s Housefrom December 1st 2012 to January 5th 2013 in Riva del Garda – Santa and Mrs Santa have decided to spend their holidays in the old castle, letting all the curious children in to roam through the rooms of their new house. Keep an eye on the calendar to find out when it’s the best time for you to visit! Santa Claus House is a fortress on the banks of Lake Garda, in Riva del Garda, built in the mists of time from Santa Claus and the elves. Is not on any map and there are no signs indicating the way to reach it, but once past the magic bridge to find it you should not do anything but follow the scent of freshly baked cookies from Natalina and the noise of the elves at work in the Laboratory. The House of Santa Claus may seem rather small view from the outside but, in this enchanted world, things are not always as they seem … When you enter the main door, there is found in the living room, as you might expect, but in the courtyard of an ancient castle where you can warm up with roasted chestnuts and vim cot lovingly prepared by the Friends of Santa Claus. Here there is also the kitchen of Natalina and sometimes Santa Claus fabulous hosts parties for the elves. To enter the rooms of the house you have to try the passage leading to the nursery. Then pass through the Post Office, the Workshop of the elves and the Room of Stories, with a large bed and a well-stocked wardrobe, Santa Claus spends his days working in a room and the other giving a hand where it is needed. Santa Claus loves to tell fantastic stories to the children who are visiting and enjoys spending plenty of time with them in order to discover their most secret desires. Natalina rather spends time in the kitchen to prepare tasty snacks for Santa Claus and his greedy elves. All dishes are prepared according to the recipes, carefully chosen and approved by Santa Claus himself. The Post Office reaches millions of letters from children all over the world. Santa Claus reads them all and only from the child’s name, he can you tell how he behaved, for each child has a list of “merits” and “demerits”, to which he adds his own comments. Prepare all the lists, check with extreme care and establishes the gifts that every child deserves. The elves “postmen” collect all the letters and order by country, city and street so that gifts can be loaded in the order of delivery. The Elves Laboratory is the most noisy of the house. Except when Santa organises a party (and this, fortunately, happens quite often), the elves are busy throughout the year to build and invent extraordinary jobs. Children can also participate in the activities that take place in the Shop, all you need is imagination and good will, and everyone can make decorations, cards and gifts for Christmas. The Santa Claus House is open: Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd, Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd, Friday 28th, Saturday 29th, Sunday 30st of December and Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of January.
